A Sanitary Sewer Service Disconnect Permit is required before any City sewer connection is disconnected.
A Sanitary Sewer Service Reconnect Permit is required when the disconnect work to the sewer is complete.
- The City requires an inspection of the existing connection before reconnection to the City sewer.
- If the connection passes inspection, there will be a $50 fee plus GST for reconnection.
- If the connection does not pass inspection, a cost estimate will be provided to the applicant by the City for repairs to the connection or installation of a new service.
- The applicant is responsible for covering the cost of repairs or installation of a new service.
Fees and Charges for sewer services are regulated by Schedule "H" of the Fees and Charges Bylaw.
Permit fee:
- sanitary disconnect permit is $750 plus GST.
- sanitary reconnect permit is $50 plus GST.
