The 2026 Abbotsford Community Foundation Agricultural Enhancement Grants program (Stream 2) is accepting applications. Stream 2 applications will close on November 13 at 3:00 pm.
In 2011, the City of Abbotsford established the Agricultural Enhancement Grants Program Fund with the Abbotsford Community Foundation (ACF) to support a thriving local agricultural industry. The overall purpose of the program is to encourage agricultural innovation, increase agricultural productivity, promote sustainable agricultural practices and build capacity in the agriculture sector.
Abbotsford is a rapidly growing community with a large, balanced and diversified economy, and serves as the economic and employment hub of the Fraser Valley.
The goal of the Economic Development team at the City is to create an environment where entrepreneurs and businesses can grow and flourish. The department supports Abbotsford businesses with growth and expansion, attracts new businesses to the community, facilitates filming, and creates partnerships between local businesses and City programs that benefit the business community. Economic Development staff collaborate with industry associations, economic development partners and First Nations to solve local issues and create regional growth opportunities. The team is an ambassador for business development and celebrates the economic growth in the City.
