NOTICE: The City of Abbotsford's Election Sign Bylaw has changed. Election signs are not permitted on public property. Please contact the election office if you have any questions.
Note: If you are a non-resident property owner, please see the "Non-Resident Property Elector" tab below.
Electors must submit 2 pieces of identification that, together, provide evidence of your residency and identity. One item must contain your signature. Please note that your voter card cannot be used as identification.
Examples of acceptable identification:
If you own property in the City of Abbotsford but you live elsewhere in BC, you are eligible to vote if you meet all the following qualifications to vote:
Non-resident electors must vote in-person (see the "Vote in Person" section in the next tab).
If the property is owned by multiple individuals, please ensure you complete the consent form which needs to signed by the majority of owners.

The deadline to request a mail in ballot was September 15, 2022. The application period has now closed.
Completed packages must be received by the Election Office by 8:00 pm on October 15, 2022.

Nomination Period – anyone interested in running for a position must submit their nomination papers to become an official candidate |
