The City of Abbotsford will be collecting names and phone numbers/email addresses of all those members of the public attending Council meetings, as per Provincial Ministerial Order 192 and the Order of the Provincial Health Officer Gatherings and Events, along with Section 26 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
The City of Abbotsford will not use or disclose personal information for purposes other than contact tracing, except with the consent of the individual whom the information is about or otherwise in accordance with law. The City of Abbotsford will retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes of contact tracing and as required under FIPPA.

All comments, suggestions, ideas, notes, drawings, concepts or other information disclosed or offered to the City through the Sites, or in response to solicitations from sites by the City (collectively the "Comments") shall become and remain the property of the City. The City shall be entitled to unrestricted use and disclosure of the Comments for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation to the provider of the Comments and the City shall not be subject to any obligation of confidence for such Comments.”
