Agricultural Enhancement Grants
Abbotsford Community Foundation's Agricultural Enhancement Grants are offered in partnership with the City of Abbotsford for the purpose of supporting local agriculture. In 2026, they will be launching two granting streams to support different types of projects that support Abbotsford’s agricultural industry. Granting Stream 1 opens on February 18.
Abbotsford is a rapidly growing community with a large, balanced and diversified economy, and serves as the economic and employment hub of the Fraser Valley.
The goal of the Economic Development team at the City is to create an environment where entrepreneurs and businesses can grow and flourish. The department supports Abbotsford businesses with growth and expansion, attracts new businesses to the community, facilitates filming, and creates partnerships between local businesses and City programs that benefit the business community. Economic Development staff collaborate with industry associations, economic development partners and First Nations to solve local issues and create regional growth opportunities. The team is an ambassador for business development and celebrates the economic growth in the City.
