The City of Abbotsford is inviting local businesses and entrepreneurs to share feedback on doing business in Abbotsford through the Annual Business Survey. The survey is open May 4 to June 5 at letstalkabbotsford.ca/2026-annual-business-survey.
Abbotsford is a rapidly growing community with a large, balanced and diversified economy, and serves as the economic and employment hub of the Fraser Valley.
The goal of the Economic Development team at the City is to create an environment where entrepreneurs and businesses can grow and flourish. The department supports Abbotsford businesses with growth and expansion, attracts new businesses to the community, facilitates filming, and creates partnerships between local businesses and City programs that benefit the business community. Economic Development staff collaborate with industry associations, economic development partners and First Nations to solve local issues and create regional growth opportunities. The team is an ambassador for business development and celebrates the economic growth in the City.
