Abbotsford is a growing city with a lot of municipal projects underway to ensure that our residents are provided with the services and amenities they need and rely on every day.
There’s a lot to keep track of, from routine infrastructure improvements to major projects including the new AbbyPD headquarters and the Heat Recovery and Optimization (HeRO) project at Abbotsford Recreation Centre. With so much happening all over our community, the City of Abbotsford has created a handy online tool that gathers all projects together in one place where residents can find where they are and track their progress.
The City’s enhanced Projects on the Go page lists all current, planned and completed projects, and they are also displayed on a map of Abbotsford so it’s clear at a glance which areas are affected. The projects are also searchable by category: parks and trails, buildings and facilities, transportation and roads, environment, strategies and plans, and utilities and infrastructure.
Clicking on the individual projects leads to project pages with more details, including visual timelines, photo galleries, status updates and other tools to ensure project information is communicated consistently to our community.
These new features make it easier for residents to learn more about the projects happening in their neighbourhood and gain more insight into all the ways that the City is working to deliver key services across Abbotsford.
