Pursuant to the City’s Election Bylaw, from the time of the delivery of any nomination documents to the Chief Election Officer, until 30 days after the declaration of the election results, nomination documents will be available for public inspection, by appointment, at Abbotsford City Hall during regular office hours, or may be viewed online.
All candidates are required to complete a Statement of Disclosure, per the Provincial Financial Disclosure Act and Local Elections Campaign Financing Act. For more information, refer to the Local Elections Guides provided by Elections BC. After the election, candidates and elector organizations must fully disclose individuals or organizations that financed their campaigns, in accordance with applicable legislation.
