MacDonald Playground Replacement

The City of Abbotsford is excited to announce the renewal of the playground at MacDonald Park. The existing play equipment has reached the end of its service life, and this upgrade will ensure the space continues to be safe, fun, and welcoming for families. As part of the renewal, the playground will be relocated within the park. This change is being made to address recurring flood issues that have affected the current play area. Re-locating the new play equipment will help reduce contamination of the play surface, minimize wear on the structures, and improve long term durability. This project will refresh the park with modern, engaging, and safe play opportunities for children and the community to enjoy for years to come.
