Gilmour Park
The City is developing Gilmour Neighbourhood Park in the Marshall McCallum neighbourhood. The park is located at 33932 Gilmour Drive and covers approximately 1,300 m² on an undeveloped site surrounded by single-family homes, manufactured housing, and an apartment complex. The park design was completed through two rounds of public engagement, and the proposed park amenities include a playground, picnic shelter, small fitness court, drinking fountain, paved pathways, benches, picnic tables, trees, rain gardens, and general landscaping.
Construction began in January 2026 and is anticipated to be completed by July 2026.
The City of Abbotsford is pleased to announce the official opening of the new Gilmour Park on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
Located at 33932 Gilmour Drive, Gilmour Park offers a range of new recreational amenities designed for people of all ages and abilities. Park features include a playground with a parkour-inspired agility structure, hill slide, universal carousel, spinner, table tennis, and three outdoor fitness stations: a cross trainer, balance station and parallel bars. Visitors can also enjoy a shade shelter with a picnic table, drinking fountain and new trees and landscaping throughout the park.
