Cooperative Education and Practicum Students
We are pleased to offer various opportunities that support co-op and practicum students in obtaining practical work experience. Co-op students are those registered in a recognized cooperative educaton program in a participating post-secondary institution.
The City of Abbotsford is proud to have partnered with highschools in the Abbotsford School District and various post secondary institutions to offer practicum student work experience terms. Eligibility
To participate in the co-op program, a student must provide written verification from a participating post-secondary institution where they are currently registered and actively participating in a recognized Cooperative Education program. All students must be attending full-time studies prior to the work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term ends.
Posting
Student co-op and internship job opportunities will be advertised on the City's Career Opportunities site and at various post-secondary institutions. You will need to apply online for each of the positions you are interested in.
