Highways Use Permit

A Highway Use Permit is required if events or activities will disrupt regular vehicle or pedestrian traffic on City roads and sidewalks. Highway Use Permits are issued to regulate traffic management plans and monitor alternate route patterns associated with these permits and ensure the traveling public is safe on City roads and sidewalks.

Required anytime someone needs to excavate, dig into or disturb a City-maintained road or right-of-way to access or install infrastructure.Required to safely manage disruptions to traffic or pedestrian flow on City roads or sidewalks caused by events, activities, or temporary structures.
