Lawn Watering Permit

A lawn watering permit is required for additional lawn watering (outside of the restrictions as below) during Stage 1.

  • Permits are valid for 2 consecutive weeks 
  • Lawn watering (automatic) is permitted only between the hours of 5:00 am to 7:00 am daily and manual lawn watering is permitted only between the hours of 6:00am to 9:00am daily.
  • A Permit must be posted in a location visible from the road for the entire duration
  • To avoid damaging your Permit, please place it in plastic covering
  • Permits are only available in person. You can obtain one by visiting City Hall, 4th floor Engineering, during regular business hours
  • Permit cost: May, June & September is $50. July & August is $100 for the two week period while restrictions allow
  • No new permits will be issued or renewed during Stage 2. Permits issued in Stage 1 will remain in effect until permit expires

If a permit is being obtained to treat lawns for the European Chafer Beetle using nematode treatment, the permit will be issued free of charge as long as residents provide proof of purchase for treatment supplies; in conjunction with the application of grass seed or new lawn. Note: Limit of one free permit with proof of nematode treatment (receipts required).
