- Is your practice based in Abbotsford?
- Have you been practicing for over 1 year?
- Do you intend to do any public community outreach and/or collaboration with other Abbotsford-based artists or organizations in the course of delivering your proposed project?
- Will the project occur in Abbotsford?
- Do you have a reference from an arts and culture professional to offer support on your behalf (e.g., teacher, professional organizational representative, etc.)?
- Are you willing to participate in the grant pilot cohort (link to definition)?
Prepare to submit your application with all required supporting documents. Please feel free to email us or the Arts Council if you have any questions about your submission.
- Project Worksheet (.pdf or word .doc.) includes your project description and project goals. The project description will help us learn more about what you hope to do, with whom, and how. The project goals will help us understand the outcomes, including how it will contribute to grant objectives, and to positioning Abbotsford as the cultural hub of the Fraser Valley.
- CV or Resume (.pdf or word .doc.) Please outline your professional experience and development as a creator. Please include any related volunteer, and work experience.
- Budget Worksheet (.pdf or word .doc.) shows expected project expenses and revenues.
- Letter of Support (.pdf, jpeg, .png) - Provide one letter from a qualified individual in the arts and culture community (e.g.: teacher, cultural organization, cultural administrator).
- 3-5 Examples of Work - Provide samples of past work that best illustrate your qualifications as outlined in the submission requirements.
