Project Details:
The Lower Sumas Mountain Road Culvert Replacement project includes drainage improvements and slope stabilization works for a creek crossing. The project aligns with the City’s strategic goal to improve the community transportation system and trail network.
Construction will include installation of a new culvert creek crossing and stabilization works to repair the failed road embankment.
A landslide event has delayed project completion. For public safety, Lower Sumas Mountain Road and Discovery Trail will be closed (24 hour) until further notice.
