September 28, 2021: BC Public Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Minister of Health Adrian Dix announced increased public health orders by Fraser Health for Abbotsford, Agassiz, Chilliwack, Harrison Hot Springs, Hope and Mission in order to decrease the transmission of COVID-19. Orders are effective immediately in order to help reduce the transmission of the virus. Fraser Health has seen the lowest immunization rates in these communities and in turn, the highest case rates which has led to impacts on our schools, workplaces and hospitals in the Fraser East region. Now is the time for all of us to help protect our communities by getting vaccinated.
