VYE ROAD/HIGHWAY 11 PROJECT UPDATE
Construction will soon begin on this project, which will see the widening of Highway 11, by extending the Nexus lane to the U.S. border and constructing a two-lane overpass on Vye Road, between Highway 11 and Riverside Road.
APPLY ONLINE FOR LAND USE INFORMATION LETTERS
The City of Abbotsford is moving to an online process for land use information requests or “comfort letters.” This will increase our ability to efficiently process these requests.

Plan 200K is about bringing to life the vision established in Abbotsford’s new Official Community Plan. On June 15, 2017, the City hosted two urban experts, Jillian Glover and Charles Montgomery, to provoke and inspire us as we work on building better neighbourhoods for all residents. CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS WILL NOT BE BROADCAST ON SHAW TV AFTER AUGUST 15
Residents can still view live council meetings through the City's website at www.abbotsford.ca/livecouncil. All regular Council and Executive Committee meetings are live streamed on the day they are scheduled.
AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY NUMBER HAS CHANGED
The City of Abbotsford After Hours Emergency number has changed to 604-864-5552. This number can now be called for City services required outside of Monday to Friday regular business hours.
