Emergency Plans
The City of Abbotsford Emergency Plan defines how the City of Abbotsford responds to major emergencies, such as floods, major spills, extreme weather and earthquakes. It provides definitions and presents the roles and responsibilities of officials from every level of government and from partner agencies.
The City of Abbotsford Evacuation Plan is an annex to the Emergency Plan and determines roles and responsibilities when an evacuation is deemed necessary.
The City of Abbotsford Recovery Plan is also an annex to the Emergency Plan and explains the roles of various committees assigned to the task of returning our city to normal after a major emergency.
