Mission Abbotsford Transit Committee

The Mission Abbotsford Transit Committee (MATC) advises and assists City of Abbotsford and District of Mission. Councils regarding the Central Fraser Valley Transit System. Topics for MATC include transit service changes, fares, improvements, efficiencies, long term funding and governance. MATC meets on the fourth Thursday of every month.

Committee members include:

• three voting members of City of Abbotsford Council
• three voting members of District of Mission Council

and staff from the following who attend meetings, as required, as non-voting members:

• City of Abbotsford
• District of Mission
• BC Transit
• First Bus Canada Ltd.
• University of the Fraser Valley (UFV)
• UFV Student Union Society
• United Way of the Fraser Valley
• Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce
• School District No. 34 (Abbotsford) and
•  School District No. 75 (Mission)
